ASAE demo
A downloadable game
A demo for an atmospheric, futuristic fps game with a complex armor system and fast movement that is indefinitely paused as I felt like I didn't have the necessary experience to bring my vision to life.
The HUD never got updated to show it, but your player's armor is actually broken down into individual components which each have an energy level and a health. As long as a component's energy is above zero, it will dissipate around 70% of the damage taken in exchange for some energy (the game was supposed to be an RPG, and the 70% could increase based on the quality of your components) and share the load with the other components that are the closest. Once a component is empty of energy, it takes 100% damage each hit.
Also the game logic was made with multiplayer in mind, but I never got the time to actually implement a coop mode, so if anyone is interested I can add LAN multiplayer quite easily.
There might also be some places where I forgot to put textures in since most of them were placeholder anyways.
